OGC Nice defender Malang Sarr has been linked with a move to Arsenal in the past. It’s been claimed the Gunners are keeping close tabs on the 17-year-old, who has been impressive this season for the Ligue 1 club, and now others are showing an interest.
Sarr made his debut for OGC Nice at the start of the season under Lucien Favre, and has notched up 24 appearances already this campaign.
Fighting for the Ligue 1 title this season, Favre has shown immense trust in the young defender and that underlines why some of the biggest clubs in Europe are keen on signing him.
On Wednesday, Mundo Deportivo report Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping close tabs on Sarr, but face huge competition to sign him. But Antonio Conte and Arsene Wenger will face further English competition.
Manchester City, Manchester United, Barcelona and Paris-Saint Germain are some of the others interested in taking Sarr on board as well.
The 17-year-old initially started out as a midfielder, before Favre turned him into a defender. He has a contract until 2021 at OGC Nice, and is expected to stay at the Ligue 1 club at least until summer.
