Everton forward Romelu Lukaku has told TalkSport he’s not thinking about a move to Chelsea in the summer. The Everton star has recently been linked with his former club.
Lukaku knows the media will speculate on his future, but revealed he’s not thinking too far ahead.
“I’m just focusing on the season. I’m not thinking about it so I will just be focusing on the season. You guys will write what you like, I’m not thinking about it right now,” said the Everton star.
With uncertainty over the future of Diego Costa at Chelsea, Everton’s Lukaku has inevitable been strongly linked as a possible replacement. The Belgian international is very ambitious and wants to play Champions League football, something difficult at Everton.
Ronald Koeman won’t want to lose his star player, but there’s likely to be rumours again in the summer about the forward’s future on Merseyside.
