According to a report in the Greek media, Olympiacos defender Omer Elabdellaoui is a summer target for Southamtpon.
Sdna.Gr claim the right back it being tracked by Southampton, although they will face competition from Leicester City and Celtic.
It’s claimed Olympiacos are looking for offers in the region of €5m.
Elabdellaoui spent the second half of the 2016/17 season on loan with Marco Silva’s Hull City and he impressed during his time with the Tigers.
Since then, the 27-year old has been constantly linked with a move to English clubs, with Southampton being one of the latest Premier League clubs to show an interest.
However, Southampton’s pursuit of the Norway international could depend on the situation with Cédric Soares and if remains at Inter Milan. The Portuguese fullback is currently on loan with the Serie A side but it’s very unlikely they’ll redeem the defender this summer.
This season Elabdellaoui has played 30 games for Olympiacos, scoring 4 goals and providing 7 assists.
