Among the numerous impressive performers in Serie A this season, Dejan Kulusevski is ranking highly.

The youngster is spending the year on loan at Parma from Atalanta and has impressed since day one.

With five assists in 12 league games so far, the 19-year-old has the second-most assists in the league, and that’s earned him plenty of attention, particularly from the Premier League and Southampton.

A few days ago we covered a report from Corriere Della Sera that stated Southampton were keen on the youngster and were ready to offer €17-18m to sign the forward.

The Saints are not the only club looking at the youngster, with Inter Milan particularly fond of him as well. FC Inter News pick up on the story today and confirm that it is no secret that the Nerazzurri are keeping a close eye on him.

However, they say it’s not certain he will end up at the club as there is interest from England, particularly Arsenal, Manchester United and Southampton.

Scouts from those clubs have drawn up ‘more than flattering’ reviews about the player and the suggestion is that there could be something of a bidding war in future.

The website explains that it’s likely that will be held off until the summer, though, with the chances of a move in January ‘quite low’ at this point.

That’s because of the player, who turned down the chance to join Juventus this summer because he preferred somewhere he could get regular game time and develop.

That’s happened at Parma, and he would question the logic in ending his productive loan spell prematurely when the offers will likely be there in the summer as well.

Likewise, Atalanta are in no rush to sell the player, suggesting Southampton may have to bide their time if they are as keen on him as they appear to be.
