Venezuelan star Yefferson Soteldo has once again talked about his dream of playing for Manchester United.
This is at least the third time the winger has spoken of his wish to sign for the Red Devils, and he doesn’t make any effort to hide how big it would be for him.
This time, Soteldo has been interviewed by LaTeleTuya via Instagram, and started by saying he’s pretty happy playing for Brazilian giants Santos.
“I’m happy at Santos, I’m very happy that they say that I am one of the idols here, for me I’m not.”
Then he’s claimed his wish “is to be able to play for Manchester United, but today Santos are in my head 100%”.
It’s Venezuelan website Ultimas Noticias who covers the quotes, and they add his dream ‘isn’t that far away’, since he’s been doing great for Santos in the Copa Libertadores, and drawing attention from European sides such as Inter Milan.
However, we still find it quite unlikely that Soteldo will be able to sign for the Red Devils in the near future. That’s because at the age of 22, he’s still to show all the potential which would convince any top European side to spend big on him, let alone Manchester United, who aren’t used to making this type of signing.
