On April 19th, we covered claims made in Italy that stated West Ham United are among the ‘more attractive’ options for Andrea Belotti.

His contract at Torino expires on June 30th and the Serie A side’s chairman, Urbano Cairo, has already hinted the striker could leave after this season.

With West Ham United in the picture for the 28-year-old, Tuttosport explained last week that he and his family are weighing up a move to England in the summer.

Journalist Niccolò Ceccarini, writing in his column for TuttoMercatoWeb, provides a fresh update on the Italy international’s future.

Belotti’s teammate Gleison Bremer is wanted by Inter Milan in the upcoming window. In order to secure the defender’s services, the Serie A winners are willing to include Andrea Pinamonti as part of the deal.

Ceccarini is of the belief Pinamonti could be the ‘right player’ for Torino since they have to find a replacement Belotti, who has decided not to sign a new deal. The frontman has ‘not yet chosen his next destination’. Atalanta and West Ham United are in the picture to sign him.

The journalist states Atalanta are ‘interested’, while ‘something is happening in England’, with David Moyes’ side also ‘interested’ in the player.

It remains to be seen whether or not the Hammers can land Belotti on a free transfer in the summer.
