There’s been a lot to be said about Paul Pogba in the past couple of weeks, since his agent Mino Raiola thought it’d be a good a idea to claim he expects the midfielder to leave Manchester United soon.
The representative first said the player isn’t happy at Old Trafford, and yesterday, claimed a January move would be unlikely, since big players only move in the summer.
But the Italian media now seems to disagree with it, at least according to some comments from journalist Massimo Marianella on Sky Sport today.
He claimed that it’s Manchester United who are now set to push the player out of the club, all due to Raiola’s inconvenient comments, and his departure could happen next month.
“Solskjaer is furious at Raiola’s words. I’m convinced that Manchester United won’t wait until the summer to sell him, if they have the chance they’ll give him away in January”, Massimo Marianella said on Sky Sport (via Calciomercato).
“Juventus is a real opportunity, the Frenchman has a special feeling with the black and white shirt.”
Paul Pogba has a contract with Manchester United running until 2022, meaning they’re safe from losing him for free this summer.
The Frenchman, who costed the club €105m in 2016, is now valued by Transfermarkt at €80m, although it would be surprising if United get such a fee for him these days.
