It seems Bruma’s negotiations with Galatasaray over a new contract have entered the final phase with the Turkish side issuing an ultimatum. Sign it or leave.
The youngster in recent weeks has been linked with a move to Southampton and Leicester City.
SporX have reported the Galatasaray board have again offered Bruma a new improved deal which is said to be €2.5m per year, but Bruma is still undecided whether to sign his contract extension. The youngster wants to become one of the highest paid players at Galatasaray, but the club’s leaders are refusing to back down to his demands.
The Turkish website have also covered reports in the Italian press that Napoli are in the race with Bruma, along with Southampton and Leicester City. The Italian side are currently following his situation and are likely to offer Galatasaray something between €8-10m if he doesn’t renew his contract.
However, despite Napoli’s interest, SporX report Bruma still wants to play in the Premier League and that his agent Catio Balde is currently working on a deal with English clubs.
These latest developments will come as a boost to Leicester City and Southampton, who have recently been linked with the 22-year-old. Bruma’s contract situation has been dragging on for months and the two Premier League sides could look to take advantage in the summer.
