Felipe Anderson is back with a bang, but he isn’t being linked with Manchester United.
No, instead, it’s Chelsea who are the ones targeted by his agents, who are currently trying to find a way out from Lazio for the Brazilian forward.
This is according to Il Messaggero on Wednesday, who claim a deal to take the player to Stamford Bridge could be on the cards, although Felipe Anderson’s team are also said to be ‘at work’ with two other clubs: Inter and Napoli.
Falling out with Simone Inzaghi last week after a defeat against Genoa, the 24-year-old was left out of the squad to face Napoli at the weekend, which Lazio lost 4-1.
Anderson is said to have now apologised to his manager for his behaviour, and although he has now reintegrated the first-team and is back training with them, Il Messaggero seem to think he’s the ‘suspect number one’ to leave the Serie A club in the summer.
Last we heard of a move to the Premier League for the forward (back in 2016), Chelsea were also the ones linked, mostly because Giuliano Bertolucci had taken over as his agent from Anderson’s sister, and he’d already sent Ramires, Alexandre Pato, David Luiz and Oscar to Stamford Bridge in the past.
This could very well be what’s happening again.
We’ll have to wait and see if this develops into something bigger for Chelsea.
