Hull City forward Abel Hernandez continues to get some big attention in the Italian media, with local outlets often having updates on his transfer situation.

The player had been a recent subject due to Serie A clubs’ wish to sign him, but it’s Celtic’s offer that is making some noise in the local press today.

Earlier on Wednesday, we already covered claims from Tutto Mercato Web reporting Celtic’s offer, which pretty much sounded like a briefing from his agent. Now Calcio Mercato has the very same story.

The website brings a few more details, saying the Scottish side are making Hernandez a ‘monster offer’ to get him in Brendan Rodgers’ squad. It would be a three year contract with the salary of a top player in the Scottish Premiership.

Calcio Mercato writes that the player is considering Celtic’s offer, but still won’t snub a return to Italy. Both Fiorentina and Sampdoria would be interested in signing him on a free once his deal with Hull City expires.

Just like we said in the previous article, this offer sounds like a message to the Italian sides. Now we wait and see if it’s real or just the attempt of a fake auction.
