Fotospor report Besiktas are interested in signing Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu in the summer transfer window.
Last summer Soyuncu signed for the Foxes from Freiburg but has struggled for game time in his debut season in England.
Last week we covered reports from Turkey that Soyuncu is a target for Besiktas’ local rivals Fenerbahce. Fotospor say the Besiktas are confident they can beat Fener to secure Soyuncu’s signature.
The Istanbul club currently lie third in the Super Lig table, five points behind second placed Galatasaray with eight games remaining.
Soyuncu has made just five appearances for Leicester City in the Premier League this season and has lost his place to Merih Demiral in the national team.
The defender is under contract at Leicester City until June 2022.
