Since getting loaned by West Ham United to Torino at the start of the season, Nikola Vlasic showed his importance for the Serie A side, having five goals and six assists in 35 appearances for them this season.
That’s why there’s a big expectation that the Turin club will trigger the buying option they have over the Hammers player at the end of the season.
As Torino manager Ivan Juric spoke today to the local media in a press conference (via Calcio Mercato), he did show his satisfaction with the West Ham loanee and teased with his stay at the club.
“Vlasic and Miranchuk are not under examination, we are very satisfied with the year they had, with how they played, how they behaved. They both did excellent with the prospect of doing even better next year,” said Juric.
Torino are believed to have a €13m buying option for Vlasic, and recent reports from the Italian media have been saying that the club would like a discount, since that’s too much for them.
With the midfielder willing to stay in Turin, it’s been said he could put pressure on West Ham to accept a deal with the Serie A side soon.
Now that should depend on the Hammers’ stance on all this, as they’re not obligated to just accept whatever comes to their table.
