Two days ago, we covered a claim from Serbia’s Informer that Al Hilal SFC have made a €40m bid to sign Fulham star Aleksandar Mitrović in the summer window.
It was also said the striker hasn’t yet made a final decision but is very close to accepting the three-year deal worth €25m per season.
Taking to Twitter, Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna has now provided an update on this case. He says the 28-year-old has ‘said yes’ to Al Hilal and has ‘accepted’ the three-year deal proposed by them.
The Middle Eastern side now have to find an agreement with Fulham to conclude the deal in this window.
That hasn’t happened so far because Marco Silva’s side have already rejected their offer and haven’t yet received any new bid from Al Hilal, who have signed Sergej Milinković-Savić earlier this week.

The Serbia international was leading Fulham’s strike force last season, and managed 15 goals and four assists from 28 games. His exit would be a blow for both Silva and the English club.
