Kyle Walker joined AC Milan on a loan deal from Manchester City in the winter transfer window.
Since then, he’s had an inconsistent time at the San Siro. The move began well but he’s had some bad performances under manager Sergio Conceicao.
Initially, there was confidence that Milan would sign Walker permanently. Now, things are changing and the Englishman can return to Manchester City in the summer.
Gazzetta dello Sport report today that the veteran’s stay at the San Siro is not at all a given now.
Doubts have now emerged at the Rossoneri and as things stand, a return to Manchester City has been described as the ‘most likely scenario’ for the right-back.
Milan will have to pay €5m to sign Walker on a permanent basis and all signals point to them not wanting to pay that amount.
The defender has made 12 appearances in all competitions for the Diavolo this season, but he’s picked up two different injuries in a short period of time. This led to him missing their 4-0 win over Udinese at the weekend as well.
