As well as Samuel Iling-Junior, Tottenham are interested in another Juventus player, having already struck multiple deals with the Serie A side in the past.

On top of Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur, Spurs could end up adding the aforementioned Englishman and Matías Soulé to their ranks.

The interest from Tottenham in the latter appeared just over a week ago, and is commented on by journalist Fabio Santini, who spoke to TV Play about Juventus’ plans in the transfer window, which go through the sale of some assets, such as the young Argentine.

He said: “Juventus are working hard on two important midfield profiles. They had already come very close to Koopmeiners in June with a €40m offer and in January it could go up to €45m with the sales of Iling-Junior and Yildiz. They have never let go of the track leading to Berardi and would like to sell Soulé for €20-25m to Crystal Palace or Tottenham.”

For those who aren’t aware, Matías Soulé is currently on loan from Juventus at Frosinone, where he has been able to display his talent in full.

The 20-year-old has scored six goals and assisted another in 14 appearances in all competitions this season, and that’s exactly why Tottenham will be interested in his services as they continue to reshape their squad for Ange Postecoglou.

It appears the red carpet has kindly been laid out for them on this one, and, should they have the money ready, getting a deal done won’t be too difficult.
