‘Really like him a lot’ – Tottenham keen on signing, Spurs must act fast and convince player to seal signing

Earlier this month, Tuttosport said Riccardo Calafiori impressed Tottenham Hotspur’s officials who were in Italy to watch him in action for Bologna.

On May 13th, the same outlet reported the north London club have moved to sign the 22-year-old in the summer window.

Tutto Juve now brings the latest on Tottenham, when explaining Juventus’ pursuit of the defender.

On Monday, the centre-back scored a brace in his side’s 3-3 draw against the Turin club. They have identified him as one of the main targets and yesterday’s performance will only help.

It’s claimed the Old Lady have been in regular contact and their intention is to table a bid in the coming weeks. They aren’t alone as Tottenham are also in the picture to sign him.

Tutto Juve say Ange Postecoglou’s side, Bayer Leverkusen and Newcastle United ‘really like him a lot’. Bologna could request a fee of around €30m, while they really value their star at €20-25m.

Tottenham have to find a way to convince the Italian because of his desire is to continue in Serie A.

Spurs need to act quickly because Juve, who are considering including some of their own players as part of a deal, aim to close an agreement for Calafiori before the start of the Euros.
