Over the past month or so, there has been a near constant stream of claims that Juventus want to sign Charlie Patino from Arsenal.

The midfielder is currently at Swansea on loan from the Gunners, but with the future of Adrien Rabiot still up in the air and a transfer likely at some point in the future, they are preparing for life without him.

The Arsenal youngster seems to be the man they have set their eyes on, and Michele Fratini, speaking to RAI Sport, relayed by Tutto Juve, has reiterated the interest.

He said: “They really like him. He also scored and Juventus were there to see him in the FA Cup. He is the player Juventus strongly want in Turin.”

There had already been a number of reports that Juventus were travelling to watch the Arsenal loanee play, and he rewarded their curiosity with a goal.

Now, they appear to have their mind set on signing him at some point in the foreseeable future, but it remains to be seen how keen the Gunners will be to let him go, and how much money they will want for a player they clearly rate a lot.
