Danilo’s transfer from Feyenoord to Rangers is now ‘completed’, according to reports from the Dutch media.

Outlet AD writes that on Tuesday, the Eredivisie side accepted Rangers bid for the Brazilian, who’s ready to go to Scotland and join Micheal Beale’s side.

It’s claimed that Danilo is expected to fly to Glasgow ‘in the coming days’. There, he’ll have his medical and sign a five-year contract with Rangers.

The outlet points out there’s been ‘long wrangling’ between the clubs for a deal, and if the performance bonuses are triggered, the total amount will reach over €6m.

That was an ‘ultimate offer’ that Rangers made following long talks with Feyenoord. It’s said the first took place a month ago, and the first three bids had been ‘ignored or rejected’ by the Dutch side.

The Eredivisie side were finally happy with the amount on the table and now plan to spend that money on signing Ayase Ueda from Cercle Brugge, among other targets.

Danilo had joined Feyenoord in a free move from Ajax in 2022, and leaves the club with 14 goals and four assists in 48 appearances.
