The agent of Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, Miki Bouraoul, has revealed he has offered his client to Napoli this summer.
Morelos has been hotly tipped to leave Ibrox this summer after another impressive goalscoring season under Steven Gerrard.
So far the Colombian has 29 goals and ten assists in 46 games this season, with a tally of six in eight in the Europa League particularly impressive.
That has taken his Rangers total to 77 goals and 29 assists in 137 games for the club since arriving from HJK Helsinki in a £1.08m deal in 2017, a feat that hasn’t gone unnoticed.
He has regularly been linked with a move to the Premier League for the last year, with a whole host of sides such as Crystal Palace and Aston Villa all thought to be keen.
His agent, though, has grander ambitions it seems, as he’s offered the Rangers player to Serie A side Napoli instead.
“Osimhen? Great footballer, if the attacker has arrived in the city and talks to the club, then it means that there is an excellent chance for it to be closed,” he told Calcio Napoli.
“The possible arrival of the Nigerian excludes the engagement of another attacker; I’m talking about Alfredo Morelos. Last year he was the top scorer in Scotland and this year he scored a lot with Glasgow Rangers.
“I had proposed him to Giuntoli, after he had given me his approval.
“He is a very valuable player for whom there are different clubs interested, especially in the Premier League, but his preference is to move to Italy.”
