Fotomac report Fenerbahce are interested in signing Norwich City defender Timm Klose but the Turkish club face competition from Rangers.
Rangers have been linked with the Swiss international in recent days as Steven Gerrard looks to bolster his squad in the next transfer window.
The Ibrox club will strengthen this summer in order to mount a title challenge next season.
However, according to Fotomac, Fenerbahce are also tracking the Norwich City player and due to their financial difficulties they’re looking for free agents. The 30 year old will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season when his contract expires with Norwich City.
It’s also reported Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli has good connections with Klose’s agents which could give them an advantage over Rangers.
With Martin Skrtel set to leave the club at the end of the season, Fenerbahce are looking to replace the Slovakian.
The Istanbul club have also been linked with Everton’s Yerry Mina and Manchester United’s Marcos Rojo in recent weeks.
Klose has been a key figure for Daniel Farke’s side in this campaign, making 31 appearances in the Championship.
