GD Estoril Praia’s Kevin Boma has been included in Rangers’ target list, and they could bring him to Ibrox in the summer window.
That’s at least what Foot Mercato are reporting, and they state Rangers are one of Boma’s interested parties.
The Frenchman spent his career in his own country before the Primeira Liga side signed him from Rodez AF in July 2024.
The centre-back has made 28 appearances in all competitions for Estoril and his displays haven’t gone unnoticed. He’s attracted interest from Rangers, Union Berlin and FC Basel.
With regards to Rangers, the report states they are convinced of the defender’s profile.
Foot Mercato add Basel are expected to make an offer ‘soon’ and this is ‘also the case’ with Rangers. In other words, the Scottish club are also expected to table a bid, without mentioning the fee they could propose.
The 22-year-old’s contract lasts until 2028 but his stay at Estoril beyond this season remains uncertain. The website states his club values him between €6-7m.
Rangers have to get at least close to this figure to sign Boma in the upcoming window.
