For the past week or so, reports coming out of Germany have explained Hamburger SV are interested in signing Leeds United’s Crysencio Summerville on loan in the winter market.
It has also been stressed the Whites player is keen to make a switch to Germany since he has found it hard to enjoy game time with the Premier League side this season.
Two days ago, Hamburger Morgenpost stated the HSV leaders don’t want to wait until deadline day to get a response from Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
These claims were further backed up by 24Hamburg on Sunday and they also explained the negotiations are ‘taking an unexpectedly long time’.
Monday’s edition of Hamburger Morgenpost states the German club would still like to bring in a new winger on the deadline day. At the moment, it is ‘more than questionable’ for the Netherlands U21 international to join them.
Although HSV wanted to conclude the transfer talks with the English club before Sunday, the report states ‘there was no agreement with Leeds yesterday’.
However, the newspaper stated ‘there is still a lot of movement’ at Leeds. If this happens, it could ‘ultimately benefit’ HSV to sign Summerville on the last day of the window, a situation they tried to avoid for the last few days.
