Everton striker Beto will not be returning to Udinese in the January transfer window but could be an option for AC Milan.
That’s according to Fanta Master, who cover the player today and how the striker’s time at Everton is ‘proving to be a real disappointment’.
The striker joined Everton in the summer transfer window as a potential replacement for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, whose injury problems have proven disastrous for Everton in recent years.
However, he has managed to overcome those issues this season and that’s meant Beto has spent the majority of this season sat on the bench.
That, coupled with the potential risk of relegation following Everton’s 10-point deduction, could mean the striker will ‘favour the farewell’ in the January transfer window.
A return to former club Udinese is ‘completely out of the question’ at this moment in time but AC Milan ‘would be vigilant’ about his situation.
They followed him in recent transfer windows, and it’s not yet ruled out that they make a move for him in January, potentially proposing a loan deal.
No contact has been made between themselves and Everton at this moment in time, but the hypothesis cannot be ruled out, particularly if Luka Jovic continues to flop, as Beto is seen as an ideal profile to rotate alongside Olivier Giroud.
