Club Brugge are keen on signing Queens Park Rangers’ Bright Osayi-Samuel.

For the past few days, the Belgian press have reported the two sides have agreed a fee for the transfer.

The Championship side wanted €5.5m, but Club Brugge have found an agreement for just under €5m.

Het Laatste Nieuws reported the 22-year-old travelled to Ostende on Tuesday afternoon, and the trip to Belgium was made so the winger could find an agreement with the Jupiler Pro League side for personal terms.

Another report from HLN now explains the player was given a tour of the club’s training facilities and also an insight on what his potential future destination would look like.

However, there’s ‘no white smoke’ between Club Brugge and Osayi-Samuel, and the latter returned to the United Kingdom on Wednesday.

It’s claimed negotiations will continue between both parties, even though he has returned to England.

Club Brugge’s agreement with QPR for a fee of €4.5m is highlighted again, but the outlet explains it’s ‘important to find an agreement with the player’.

As per the report, Osayi-Samuel wants a ‘justifiable salary’ to join them.

HLN doesn’t specify what would be a ‘justifiable’ salary for the wideman, or whether or not Club Brugge are ready to meet his demands.
