Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain are interested in the signing of Manchester United right-back Diogo Dalot, according to reports from the player’s home country today.
Portuguese newspaper O Jogo say the Red Devils are looking forward to selling the player next summer, and should demand between €35m and €40m for him.
Following the arrival of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, it’s claimed that the Old Trafford side find no sense in keeping such a option in the squad.
O Jogo says Dalot could’ve left on a loan deal in the January transfer window, but now a permanent departure is looking more likely.
Regarding PSG’s interest, it’s claimed that this price shouldn’t be a barrier for the French side, who are ‘very attentive to the situation’. The club are said to be after a right-back because Thomas Meunier’s contract expires at the end of the season.
This story is pretty interesting because although Portuguese newspapers are often on the money regarding local transfers, they don’t normally get involved in moves which don’t concern Liga NOS sides.
