Italian website Tutto Mercato Web claim Udinese would be interested in Galatasaray defender Koray Gunter.
The German player sees his contract expire at the end of the season, so that would be a very easy transfer for the Serie A side. That is in case he’s interested in joining them, of course.
Interestingly, TMW point out Giampaolo Pozzo, owner of Udinese, would not have him only as a target for the Italian club, but for Watford as well.
They don’t have any details on how the businessman would decide between one of his clubs, but they say that ‘even’ from Watford’s point of view, the player would be a target.
With only nine minutes played this season, Gunter isn’t exactly living a great time in his career, despite having left Germany with great expectations when sold by Borussia Dortmund in a €2.5m deal in 2014.
Now being a free man next summer, maybe he could end up at Watford.
