Moussa Sissoko is desperate to leave Newcastle United this summer, and he is making sure everyone knows it.
The Frenchman, in an interview with BBC, admitted he is waiting for an offer from Real Madrid, and is hoping they come and take him away.
However, there have been conflicting reports in the Spanish media. It’s difficult to say if Real Madrid are genuinely interested in signing Sissoko.
According to Spanish newspaper AS on Friday, Sissoko could provide competition to Casemiro at Real Madrid. Another reason there could be an opening for Sissoko at Real Madrid, is stated as Marco Llorente leaving for Alaves on loan, although hat doesn’t make a great deal of sense.
AS say Benitez could play a key role for the transfer to advance, and that he has given the green light for the player to leave. The Spanish newspaper don’t openly talk about Real Madrid’s interest in Sissoko, but haven’t denied it either.
This could get tricky, but if Real Madrid were really interested we believe they wouldn’t be waiting, and Sissoko wouldn’t have to issue a ‘come-and-get-me’ plea every week.
