Sadio Mane appears to be edging closer to the exit door at Anfield, with the attacker apparently looking for a new adventure.
Multiple comments from the Liverpool player have encouraged the feeling that he’s on his way out, and luckily for Mane, Bayern Muncih are interested.
The Bundesliga side are usually very careful with what they spend on transfers, and they won’t want to offer Jurgen Klopp’s side a euro more than what they deem appropriate.
Bild now report ‘poker has begun’, and Bayern Munich have submitted their ‘first offer’.
According to the German newspaper, Bayern have offered just €25m for the 30-year-old, and there’s been no response from the Reds at this stage. There’s hope at the Bundesliga side that Liverpool will negotiate a reasonable fee, given Thiago Alcantara was allowed to move the other way for around the same amount.
That, of course, isn’t how transfers work, and Liverpool will almost certainly be pushing for a higher fee. The situation has now reached a more serious stage, and it’s over to the Reds to formulate their response.
