Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran has admitted “it would be a pleasure” to play for the likes of Chelsea and AC Milan, but he’s unaware of interest from either.

The striker has been speaking to Win Sports in Colombia, relayed by journalist Pipe Sierra, about his situation and the possibility of a move away from Aston Villa this month.

He’s struggled for gametime at Aston Villa this season, featuring largely from the bench as Unai Emery has preferred other options.

That’s led to regular reports about a potential exit this month, with several clubs potentially in the mix and looking at a loan deal.

AC Milan and Chelsea have been named specifically over the last few weeks, with the Blues thrown into the mix this week as their goalscoring problems continue under Mauricio Pochettino this season.

The idea of a departure has been dismissed by Unai Emery, though, who has publically insisted that the striker remains a part of his plans moving forwards in the second half of the campaign.

And it seems the player himself is thinking similar, insisting he is fully focused on Aston Villa for now.

“I have my head in Aston Villa,” journalist Pipe Sierra reports him saying.

“I am not aware of interests from AC Milan or Chelsea. They are giant clubs, and it would be a pleasure, but I have no knowledge of anything. As a child you dream of playing there.”
