It didn’t take long for Andrea Ranocchia to adapt to Hull City. After joining the club on a six-month loan in January, the defender quickly got a place in the starting team and already has eleven Premier League appearances for the Tigers.
But Hull may find some difficulties in keeping the player at the end of the season, as reported by Tuttosport today. Both because of the defender’s personal goals and due to Inter Milan’s plans for him.
The newspaper claims that Inter are planning to sign Domenico Berardi from Sassuolo in the summer, and considering the player’s high price, they will try to include Ranocchia in the deal.
Ranocchia would also want to return to the national team to play the next year’s World Cup, and Tuttosport claims it would be easier for him if playing for an Italian club.
The 29-year-old’s market price is considered to be €15m. It seems Ranocchia’s future will depend on several factors, but in case Hull decide to make a move to keep him, that’s how much they would have to spend.
