According to a claim in the Turkish media, Islam Slimani’s salary demands are making it complicated for Fenerbahce to sign the Leicester City forward.
The Turkish side have been linked with the Algeria international in the past week as they continue their attempts to bring in a forward before the transfer window closes.
Milliyet have reported on Fenerbahce’s pursuit of the Leicester City player and say the Istanbul club want to loan the forward despite the Premier League insisting on €20m to sign him outright.
It’s claimed the two clubs are working on coming to an agreement over this, but it’s Slimani’s demands which are now causing the main concern for Fenerbahce.
Milliyet say the 30 year old wants €5m a season to play for the Yellow Canaries, something the Turkish side aren’t prepared to offer.
Fenerbahce are hoping to convince the player to lower his demands, and if not, then the transfer is looking difficult to complete.
