For some time, Christian Pulisic moving to the Premier League has been reported as a possibility in the German sport media.
Chelsea and Liverpool have been the clubs linked the most, but others including Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have also been brought into the equation at times.
The Blues wanting a January move has been claimed and not so long ago the reliable Ruhr Nachrichten reported that Chelsea had made an offer for what they wanted to be a January move, but were knocked back.
Pulisic has a contract running until June 2020, meaning the pressure for a sale will grow, but with Borussia Dortmund being in a fight to win the Bundesliga, they don’t want him to go in the winter, even if he’s not an integral part of the team.
Dortmund’s asking price was said to be £70m, and Chelsea’s offer well below that.
There’s an interesting slant from Bild today which explains BVB are looking for a replacement, and have potentially identified Viktor Tsyhankov of Dynamo Kiev.
Then Bild throw a paragraph in which states Pulisic moving to Chelsea is likely, ‘at the latest in the summer’.
