Olympiacos forward Daniel Podence travelled to England today to undergo his medical before completing a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Yesterday we brought you a report from Greece that stated a move was likely to be completed on Sunday after the two clubs agreed on a deal.
O Jogo confirm that is the case today, saying the player was expected in England today to undergo his medical ahead of signing a four and a half year deal at the club.
According to the newspaper, negotiations between Wolves and Olympiacos have been going on for over a week, and a deal has now been reached.
Wolves will pay €23m upfront for the forward, with it including the chance of a further €5m if ‘certain objectives’ are met during his time at Molineux.
That will make him the biggest transfer in AEK’s history and the latest Portuguese player to join the growing band under Nuno Espirito Santo.
