It appear that Thursday will be the day when Sam Lammers is finally unveiled as a Rangers signing, making him the latest signing for Michael Beale.

It was reported a couple of days ago that the Atalanta striker was going to switch Italy for Scotland and move to Ibrox, and the Italian media back that up today.

TuttoMercatoWeb are the ones bringing the information, making it clear that the player ‘will sign his contract’ with Rangers ‘today’.

He will move to Ibrox after three seasons at the Italian side, having spent the last campaign on loan at Empoli, where he scored two goals and provided two assists in 33 league games.

As for his move to Scotland, he will reportedly be putting pen to paper on a four year contract with Rangers, with the deal set to be worth around €4m with everything included.

This comes as Rangers are set to lose long-time goalscorer Alfredo Morelos on a free as the Colombian looks for a new challenge.
