Over the past few weeks, Catalan newspapers have discussed Watford, Everton and Southampton interest in signing Jean-Clair Todibo.

AC Milan are also keen on acquiring the 20-year-old’s services and their leaders travelled to Barcelona last week, to hold transfer talks.

Everton and Watford have both taken players on loan from Barca previously, with Andre Gomes moving to Goodison Park and Gerard Deulofeu at the Hornets, having been at the Toffees himself previously.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side also have Yerry Mina and Lucas Digne from the Catalan club, so the connections should be pretty good for both them and Watford.

Reports from Italy indicated the defender had agreed to join Milan, but these claims were dismissed by Mundo Deportivo on Monday. It was suggested the centre-back will make a decision on his future in mid-January.

Sky Italia reported Milan have given the Frenchman a deadline of 48 hours to respond to their offer and if he chooses not to reply, they will move on to another target.

Tuesday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo once again relays Todibo has offers from Watford, Everton, Southampton, Bayer Leverkusen and AS Monaco on the table.

It’s claimed Milan’s proposal seduces Todibo, but he wants to listen to other offers, including those of the Hornets and Ancelotti’s side.

Barca face Atlético Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final in Saudi Arabia. They will travel to Middle East later today and Todibo will find out whether or not Valverde will take him for the trip.
