As a way of enternaining their fans during the Coronavirus crisis, Portuguese side Braga started making a Q&A with club players on their social channels.
The first one to be chosen was obviously the squad’s biggest star, Francisco Trincão, who doesn’t have a lot of time left at the club.
The 20-year-old has recently been the subjection of a negotiation with Barcelona, who will be paying €31m to bring him to the Camp Nou in the next transfer window.
So it’s no surprise that most of the questions were about his future at the Catalan side, and Trincão has shown some good sense of humour when replying to all of them (via A Bola).
Asked about which Braga player he’d like to take to Barcelona with him, Trincão went for Brazilian midfielder Fransérgio.
“Fransérgio is always saying that he can go and stay there just to help, to give advice, to be with me and pass the ball to me (laughs). I’d take Fransérgio with me.”
A fan also wondered if he’s telling Messi about Braga once he gets to to meet the Argentine star.
“I believe he already knows. We have done this over the years, putting your name at European and world level, not only in football but also in other sports. Braga have more name every day. I will certainly be able to talk to Messi about Braga.”
Asked about how he feels about knowing Barcelona don’t a striker such as Paulinho, Trincão jokes again.
“Another question about Paulinho (laughs)? I will miss crossing into the box and knowing that he’s there to score goals. Life goes on. Paulinho will also miss me (laughs).”
