Mateusz Bogusz is now a ‘step away’ from joining Leeds United.
Poland’s Sportowe Fakty report on Tuesday afternoon that an offer from the Championship club has been accepted by Ruchu Chorzów.
Now the only hold up is awaiting the transfer contract to be drawn up, and then the 17 year old can complete the January move to Leeds.
This is story which dates back to the end of last year.
On December 29th we covered claims from Poland that the Yorkshire club were ‘tempting’ the youngster to sign for them.
His contract is set to expire in June so a transfer was never going to be costly.
At the time it was estimated that clubs would need to part with around €200k to convince Ruchu Chorzów over the deal.
Brighton & Hove Albion and Stade Reims were also credited with interest, and it was pointed out that Napoli had been keeping an eye on the player’s progress.
