Just like when Sandro Ramirez moved to Sevilla on loan in January, following his move to Real Sociedad the forward seems to have no bother saying things which may not be taken perfectly by Everton.
After the winter window, and before kicking a ball for Sevilla, Sandro was happy to explain how it’d been so difficult in England, it certainly wasn’t a place for him, and he made it clear he had no intention of going back.
The former Barcelona player explained: “It was a tough negotiation, Everton has resisted until the end, that is secondary, now I am where I wanted to be, where the body asked me to be, I do not have the World Cup in mind, I want to work and do what I do best. Score goals.
That plan was hit when Sandro did kick a ball, and none of them ended up in the back of the net. Sevilla had little, if any, interest in a permanent deal.
Upon his Real Sociedad loan being confirmed, Sandro explained that he feels Spain suits him much better, echoing the earlier comments.
In another echo of the Sevilla move, he’s also said Everton were an issue in negotiations, with Diario Vasco quoting the footballer as saying he’s very happy with the move “despite the difficulties that Everton put in front of us.”
After repeating the same mantra, Sandro will hope things turn out differently on the pitch, and he manages to score a goal.
