Fanatik report Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim has personally called Badou Ndiaye to urge the Stoke City midfielder to join the Turkish club.

The Turkish newspaper says after talks with Terim, Ndiaye has made the decision to join the Istanbul club after earlier claims he could move back to the Premier League.

Recent reports suggested the deal is very close to being sealed between the two clubs, and Ndiaye is hoping to play in the Champions League with Galatasaray next season.

According to Fanatik, Ndiaye will now talk with Stoke City and push for their approval on a return to Turkey. The Senegal international joined Stoke City from Galatasaray in the last transfer window for €16m.

It’s expected Galatasaray will offer a loan deal with an option to buy, due to their problems with FFP.

Last month they were hit with a hefty fine from UEFA and face further sanctions if they don’t comply in this financial year.
