Player set for Leicester City medical today, salary and fee disclosed

Haberturk report Leicester City are close to signing Turkish international Caglar Soyuncu after agreeing a transfer fee with Freiburg.

The player in recent days has been linked with the Premier League side in the English press.

It’s reported in the English media that the deal which will bring Soyuncu to Leicester is almost done and Haberturk confirm the exact transfer fee is €18m, and Leicester City have also agreed to future add ons.

According to Haberturk, Soyuncu’s agent Fali Ramadani and Leicester City officials met in Freiburg yesterday, where an agreement was made by both clubs.

It’s reported Soyuncu is set to sign a three year deal with the Foxes, and the 22-year old will earn £55K per week in his first season, £58K per week in 2019/20 and £66K per week during the 2020/21 campaign.

Haberturk say Soyuncu will have his medical today before the transfer is made official.

The Bundesliga defender has previously been linked with a move to Arsenal.

It’s worth noting there’s nothing on this in Germany’s major sport media yet.
