Molde forward Pawel Cibicki has told the Norwegian media he’s finally finding his feet after his summer move from Leeds United.
The Swede is currently on loan with the Norwegian champions until their domestic season finishes in December.
Speaking to Aftenposten, Cibicki was asked how he’s settled in Norway since his loan move from Leeds United: “It’s taken it’s time. But it had been a while since I played in matches before I came to Molde. It’s not easy to come in as a new player. Now it feels like its getting better and better with every game.”
Cibicki signed for Leeds United from Malmo in 2017, but struggled to hold a place down in the team. This led to claims during the last January transfer window that Danish side Brondby were interested in the young Swede and had held talks with his agent in Copenhagen.
The attacker did put a run of games together during the last winter period, mainly due to injuries, but finished the season playing just a handful of games.
Since arriving in Norway, the 24 year has scored one goal and provided three assists in seven league games, which Leeds United will be pleased about.
