Amid the rumours of Jota Silva’s transfer to West Ham United, the Portuguese media has been keeping a close watch on the Vitória Guimarães player.
As the winger rushed his return to training and was now pictured working at his club, Portuguese newspaper Record shares a story about him.
This time without mentioning West Ham, the outlet points out that there are many clubs who are interested in Jota Silva, and soon there will be offers arriving for him.
Record also highlights that the player has been managing to stay ‘immune’ to the rumours that surround him. They claim he seems in ‘good mood’ to start his early training ahead of the season.
Jota just had a very positive year with Vitória Guimarães, with 15 goals and seven assists in 42 appearances for the club.
Earlier this week, we saw West Ham’s interest in his signing restated by the Portuguese media, although it was claimed that it should take a while until movement from the Hammers is seen.
Since his contract has a €20m release clause, this isn’t an operation which would take much negotiating.
