At the start of this week, various claims indicated that Kylian Mbappé wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain, and Liverpool have been named as one of his suitors.
On October 12th, we carried a report from L’Equipe, who stated the Reds are ‘dreaming’ of signing the forward.
Later that day, Le Parisien reported Liverpool have the capacity to make a big offer to bring the 23-year-old to Anfield. This was backed up by Mundo Deportivo on Thursday and they added the France international has not closed the door to joining the Merseyside club.
Mbappé has launched an initiative, ‘Inspired by KM’, which is to help children in Paris to fulfil their dreams. He attended an event earlier this week, where he was asked whether he prefers Liverpool or Real Madrid.
When asked about these two clubs, RMC Sport explain Mbappé ‘displayed a broad smile’, before the organiser reminded the guests he would not discuss football.
Mbappé, though, did mention his short-term goal. He said, “For now, a second World Cup. After that, I don’t know.”
According to RMC, it may be Real Madrid or Liverpool for Mbappé after the FIFA tournament in Qatar. It’s claimed these two sides are his ‘long time courtiers’.
The Frenchman’s refusal to commit his long-term future to PSG could encourage those clubs interested in signing him.
