There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Fenerbahce defender Bright Osayi-Samuel is likely to leave the club at the end of the season.

The former Queens Park Rangers right back has been linked with a return to England in the summer, with Crystal Palace said to be leading the race to sign him.

Ajanssor have reported on the latest developments regarding Osayi-Samuel’s future with Fenerbahce, after he turned their salary offer of €6m over three years. The Nigeria international reportedly requested €2.5m a season, as previously reported in Turkey.

Subsequently, the Istanbul side are now looking at possible replacements and the Turkish media outlet claim they are considering bringing in Red Star Belgrade’s Ognjen Mimovi.

Fener manager Jose Mourinho is keen for Osayi-Samuel to remain in Istanbul, but it now looks like he will be moving on.

Again, Crystal Palace are again mentioned as a possible destination for the player following reports earlier this month that they were in transfer talks with the player.

Osayi-Samuel is also reportedly keen on a return to London to be reunited with his partner.
