Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla is pushing hard on Tuesday evening regarding Daniele Rugani.
The Juventus defender has been repeatedly linked with a move to England, and Arsenal rumours date all the way back to 2015.
Tuesday’s edition of Tuttosport talked up Gunners interest, but they made it clear Juventus weren’t interested in a straight loan. That presented a problem for Arsenal as they don’t have a whole lot of budget left this summer.
Now Pedulla has several claims which suggest a compromise may have been found.
Rugani is said to have found a personal agreement with the Premier League club at more than €4m a season. The next step is to agree with Juventus, and it’s suggested they could grant a two year loan, but only if there’s a very important condition.
Arsenal would be required to agree to a compulsory purchase, at the end of the loan, for €40m.
Wolves are behind in the chase, and Manchester United did nothing more than ask for information.
