Ronaldo Vieira has been repeatedly linked with a return to Leeds United over the past week or so, as he looks to get his career back on track after injury issues stalled his progress.
The 23-year-old came through the academy at Elland Road before being sold to Sampdoria in 2018, as Leeds looked to bring in some funds for their own transfer business.
Things haven’t gone according to plan, and last summer the midfielder almost moved to Sheffield United. A deal was agreed, and Ronaldo Vieira travelled to England to complete the switch, but problems with the player’s medical saw the whole thing collapse.
ClubDoria46 now report the player ‘packs his bags’ and is ready for a move to Leeds United. Family connections in the area are thought to be key, and the environment would allow the youngster to continue his return from injury, as he’s expected to be fit to play again in January.
There’s no mention of the structure of a move, or whether it would be a loan or a permanent switch.
