Fotospor report Besiktas’ new manager Sergen Yalcin doesn’t want Arsenal owned midfielder Mohamed Elneny to remain with the Super Lig club beyond this season.
The Egyptian international was loaned to the Black Eagles from Arsenal at the start of the campaign and he became an important part of Abdullah Avci’s team, before the Turkish coach was recently sacked.
It’s likely Besiktas will pursue other alternatives next summer as the Turkish side don’t have enough resources to pay his redemption clause, which is said to be €18m.
The former Basel midfielder has made 21 appearances for Besiktas in all competitions this season and is under contract with Arsenal until June 2022.
However, it seems he doesn’t have a future at the Emirates, and it looks likely he will need to find a new club in the summer.
