Simone Zaza may not be featuring among the European top scorers, but his name keeps being mentioned in the transfer market as if he was one of them.
After a long transfer saga during the summer, he ended up being loaned from Juventus to West Ham, where he still hasn’t scored after five matches for the club.
But somehow he managed to recently attract the attention from Valencia, according to Levante EMV.
The outlet mentions West Ham’s deal, which reportedly is a €5m loan plus a €20m option in case he reaches a certain number of games, and says this price would be good for Valencia to make a deal.
They say that although it’s a complex transfer, as it involves three sides, the Spanish club are confident the signing is possible. Valencia are currently living a goal drought, and Zaza would be the short-term solution for this problem.
Cesare Prandelli is said to have given his approval to the player, which would make a move all the more possible.
West Ham are still waiting for this goalscorer to show up, though.
