On January 27th, Le10 Sport stated Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas favours a move to Nottingham Forest over Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr in the winter market.

A day later, L’Equipe backed it up and added the 36-year-old is seduced by the idea of playing in the Premier League.

Navas has seen his game time restricted at PSG and a move to Nottingham Forest would see him reverse the situation.

The Costa Rican tried leaving the Ligue 1 winners last summer, but wasn’t successful. He is set to leave Paris for Steve Cooper’s side in the winter market, according to French journalist Ignazio Genuardi.

Genuardi explains that Nottingham Forest are ‘confident’ of signing the stopper following ‘new discussions’, likely with PSG, that took place at the weekend.

He further adds the South American is ‘indeed expected’ to join the Tricky Trees and the move is subject to medical tests.

Cooper is currently not able to rely upon Dean Henderson, who is sidelined with an injury. If Navas seals a move to Nottingham Forest, he’ll surely expect to be first choice.
