Arriving on a free transfer in October, Nicolas N’Koulou could already be on his way out of Watford.
The player, signed by Claudio Ranieri to help the struggling Hornets defence, has only made three appearances for the Vicarage Road side, and that might be all he does.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the option of him going to Udinese, in what we like to call at Sport Witness as the Pozzo Special, ‘remains alive’.
That being said, him making the move depends on what takes place with Sebastien De Maio, who could end up heading to Salernitana on loan.
N’Koulou hasn’t featured for Watford since the 4-1 win over Manchester United back in November due to injury, previously completing the 90 minutes against Arsenal and making a 14 minute cameo in the 5-2 victory over Everton.
He wasn’t in the squad for the West Ham and Spurs games either as he still recovers, but this could be a deal that suits all parties, with him having excelled in the past in Italy with Torino.
